I watch the Biggest Loser TV show that I find inspiring and encouraging. Last
week the show had boxer Sugar Ray Leonard give some of the contestants a boxing
workout. He tells them that it's not just physical, it also mental.
He tells them his philosophy is POWER, Prepare, Overcome, Win Every Round. I think his POWER philosophy can be applied to our Christian lives.
A. The Proper Attitude - We must be willing to hear the gospel with a view toward obedience. James 1:22-25
B. The Proper Nutrition – John 6:35
C. The Proper Training – I Corinthians 9:24-27
D. The Proper Attire – Matthew 22:11-14
A. The Christian's RELATIONSHIP with God – Romans 8:31
B. The REALITY of Truth – Hebrews 13:8
C. The RECOMPENSE of the wicked – Roman 12:19-21
D. The REWARD of the righteous – II Corinthians 4:16-18
A. Victory in Death – II Timothy 4:6-8
B. Abodes of the Righteous and Wicked – Luke 16:22-24
C. Return of Christ – I Thessalonians 4:13-18
D. Resurrection – John 5:28-29
E. Final Judgment – II Corinthians 5:10
F. Heaven and Hell – Matthew 25:31-46
The POWER philosophy will work for Christians, Prepare, Overcome, Win Every Round.
If you are not prepared, not overcoming, and not winning every round then please come and make your life right tonight.
