Christians Must Endure - Revelation 3:5

The word, endure means, to bear up, to hold up, to be steadfast. It is the ability to withstand temptation, hardship, or adversity. There are blessings for us in heaven, if we endure temptation until the end (James 1:12). Jesus teaches that those who overcome will received a reward - Revelation 3:5

Tree planted by the waters does not moveIn John 8:31-32 Jesus shows the importance of persisting and continuing in Godís Word to be free.

Unfortunately, many will forfeit their freedom from sin, and the blessings of entering into the everlasting kingdom of God, because they will fail to endure and abide in the doctrine of Christ.

Some people will be like the seeds that fall into stony places, that Jesus describes in the parable of the sower. They hold up for a little while, but when temptation "flares up" they are ready to let go of enduring to the end and give up - Matthew 13:20-21

This is why Christians need to make sure they are rooted and grounded in the truth of the Word of God - Colossians 2:7

We need to be just like a tree that is planted by the waters and not be moved.

It is important for Christians to practice endurance so that we donít find ourselves thrust out of the Kingdom of God - Luke 13:23-28

May the Lord give us strength and patience as we suffer and endure hardships, enabling us to be found in Him without spot or wrinkle in that blessed day and be able to enter into that city beyond the blue.

Why not begin by coming to Jesus, responding to the gospel of Christ, accepting the Salvation that God lovingly offers:  Hear - Believe - Repent - Confess - Be Baptized
